<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet process flue gas desulfrization equipment whose desulfurizing performance after spraying is highly increased and whose operating cost is low by improving absorptive performance of liquid droplets after absorbing SO2 to some extent. SOLUTION: A liquid absorbent sprayed from spray nozzles 4 is turned into liquid droplets through a liquid film formation and atomization process. Since the liquid droplets immediately after atomization is vibrated, mixing inside the liquid droplets is good and absorptive performance is high. With the elapse of time, however, the liquid droplets shifts to natural falling, and because of the lowering of relative velocity between the liquid droplets and gas and of the action of surface tension thereof, the vibration of the liquid droplets is decreased, the mixing inside the liquid droplets is lowered to gradually decrease the absorptive performance. Such liquid droplets are vibrated by sonic irradiation from an acoustic wave generator 13 to agitate the surface of the liquid droplets, that is, the gas-liquid contact interface and to accelerate the mixing inside the liquid droplet, and a velocity at which SO2 is absorbed from the surface of the liquid droplets and mixed in the liquid droplets, that is, SO2 absorption velocity is increased and the film of SO2 on the surface of the liquid droplets is hardly formed.</p> |
