APPARATUS FOR REGENERATING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN AND USE OF REGENERATED RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate a scrap material of a thermoplastic resin in large quantities by inexpensive equipment by providing a rough grinding means roughly grinding a washed scrap material and a fine grinding means mixing the roughly ground particles with a liquid to frictionally grind the same to obtain fine particles. SOLUTION: A scrap material composed of cut refuse of nylon 11 is put in a washing apparatus to be washed to remove waste refuse or oils and fats. Next, the washed scrap material is transferred to a rough grinding apparatus 13 to be cut and ground by a rotary blade to obtain roughly ground particles with a particle size of about 4mm. This roughly ground particles are mixed with water in a mixing tank 14 and the ground particles mixed with water are introduced into a fine grinding apparatus 15 by a pump 16 to be abraded and ground. When a fine ground powder is accumulated in a tray 18 in a definite amt, the tray 18 is replaced with a new one and the tray is introduced into a dryer 19 to remove moisture to complete a regenerated powder.
