PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high traction performance under an off-road and high slewing draining performance under an on-road, by forming in a shallow groove having a raised bottom, the groove bottom of a narrow groove positioned from a tire grounding end to a tire inside, and arranging in the groove bottom surface, a sipe extended along a direction where the narrow groove is extended. SOLUTION: Straight grooves (main grooves) 2 extended in a tire circumferential direction T are arranged in the tread surface 1 of a pneumatic tire so that the tread surface 1 is divided into a center part 1A and shoulder parts 1B. Many blocks 4B1 , 4B2 are sectioned on the shoulder parts 1B by lug grooves 3B, auxiliary lug grooves 3B' and the straight grooves 2, and narrow grooves 7 by which the blocks 4B1 are divided are arranged in the blocks 4B1 , and also narrow grooves 8 whose groove width is formed larger than the narrow grooves 7 are arranged in the blocks 4B2 . Then, the narrow groove parts b1, c1 of the narrow grooves 8, position from a tire grounding end E to a tire inside, are formed in shallow grooves whose groove bottoms are raised, and one slit sipe 9 extended along a direction where the narrow grooves 8 are extended, is arranged in each of the groove bottom surface (x) of the narrow groove parts b1, c1. |
