摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe electrosurgical device which prevents the pressure within the abdominal cavity from exceeding a preset abdominal cavity internal pressure value. SOLUTION: An argon gas cylinder 201 is placed in an inert gas supply device 20, and argon gas is allowed to flow into an inert gas supply tube 21 via a flow rate sensor 203 and an electropneumatic proportional valve 204 which are controlled by a control part 205 constituting an inert gas control means, the inert gas supply tube 21 being connected to a first connecting nozzle 211. In a laparoscopic surgical operation, carbon dioxide is fed into the abdominal cavity by a pneumoperitoneum device 30, and the internal pressure of the abdominal cavity is constantly measured. A abdominal cavity internal pressure value set by the pneumoperitoneum device 30 and the measured value of the internal pressure of the abdominal cavity are transmitted to the control part 205, where the value of the difference between the set and measured values of the internal pressure of the abdominal cavity is calculated to control the rate of flow of the argon gas into the abdominal cavity.
