STAIN-RESISTANT WATER AND OIL-REPELLING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stain-resistant water and oil-repelling composition capable of dissolving in a lower alcohol, hardly generating an unpleasant odor, imparting a good feeling to a textile and having an improved properties for removing a fouling. SOLUTION: This stain-resistant water and oil-repelling composition comprises a prescribed block copolymer and a 1-4C monofunctional or bifunctional alcohol. The block copolymer has a polymer segment composed of a monomer of the formula CH2 =CR1 COO(R2 O)n Rf [Rf is a fluoroalkyl group; R1 is H or methyl; R2 is an alkylene residue and (n) is a positive integer] and a polymer segment composed of at least one kind of an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a hydroxy group- containing (meth)acrylate.
