PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material capable of forming and erasing an image with a clear contrast, and maintaining stably an image with age under the environment of an everyday life. SOLUTION: The recording material is formed of containing on the carrier an ordinarily achromatic or hypochromic dye precursor and reversible developer causing the dye precursor to undergo reversible color tone variation. For the decoloring accelerator, it contains at least one kind of compounds shown by the formula; wherein each R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> and R<5> is a monovalent group (each group can contain one or more substituents) selected from among a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an allyl group, a heterocyclic residue moiety, an amino group, and a hydroxyl group, and arbitrary two groups selected from among R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> and R<5> are coupled each other so as to preferably form an 5- or 6-membered N- containing heterocyclic group. |
