PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously carry out in-putting, poshing, and taking-out of an article to be polished in an electromagnetic polishing device without a rolling mechanism. SOLUTION: A cylindrical vessel 8 is fixed to a part of a rotor of electromagnets 1 to 6, which is similar to a stator of an induction motor. Abrasive powder 21 is tossed in from an inlet 10 on the right end surface of the vessel 8, while an article to be polished 22 is continuouly tossed in from an in-putting port 9. A spiral projection 12 is fixed within the vessel 12. By generating a rapid circulating from to the abrasive powder 21, taking advantage of the force generated when a small piece 20 of magnetic substance rotates with a rotating magnetic field, the article to be polished 22 rotates slowly as it is polished, and is discharged from an outlet 11, being guided by the spiral projection 12. In this case, the abrasive powder 21 is used by a pump 17 in a circulative manner. |
