PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic pier which can create a satisfactory atmosphere which is so-called as 'a feel-free place of relaxation' required for a hydrophilic facility, which is made of even an artificial material excellent in durability, and which has a powerful affinity with animals and plants living therearound. SOLUTION: A floatable structure 4 such as a raft is assembled from a hollow sealed pipes. Short columns 5 are planted on the float structure 4, and a pier floor member 5 is held on the columns 5. The pier floor member 6 is formed from a plurality of transparent glass or plastic panels 6a which are coupled by means the frames 6b. The pier floor member 6 is set at one end on a bank. The float structure 4 sinks below the water surface, and a waterweed growing net 7 for holding and growing hydrophytes is streched in the structure 4. |
