PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a polyester sheet without generating a flaw on the surface of the sheet in a process cooling a molten sheet by a liquid. SOLUTION: A sheet-like molten matter 2 of thermoplastic polyester is extruded on a rotary cooling drum 3 and cooled and solidified while brought into close contact with the drum to produce a sheet. In this case, the sheet like molten matter is composite sheet-like molten matter constituted of polyester/ polyolefin and the surface of the sheet-like article on the side opposite to the contact surface with the rotary cooling drum 3 is composed of a polyolefin layer and the sheet-like article is cooled on the surface side of the polyolefin layer by a liquid and thereafter, the polyolefin layer 14 thereof is peeled to obtain a polyester sheet 13 as a single layer sheet. |
