PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively estabilish the mass production technique of a feed roller by applying rigidity to an integrated three-layered structure of a center shaft, an elastic inner layer and an elastic outer layer in a rotary direction and applying elasticity thereto in a diameter direction. SOLUTION: A process producing a hollow member 14 made of fluoroplastic having an outer peripheral surface having a circular cross section and opened at both ends thereof, a process inserting the center shafts 12 and the hollow member 14 into an injection mold so that the center shafts 12 hold the center axial line of the hollow member 14 in common, a process forming a closed cavity 26 by the molding surface of an injection mold, the inner surface of the hollow member 14 and the outer peripheral surfaces of the center shafts 12 and a process fusing the hollow member 14 and an elastomer by the fusion heat of the elastomer are provided. Rigidity is applied to the integral three- layered structure of the center shafts 12, an elastic inner layer and an elastic outer layer in a rotary direction and elasticity is applied thereto in a diameter direction to inexpensively mass-produce a feed roll. |
