The method involves a saw wire being inserted, or other pliable rock sawing tool, into a saw receiving hole (7). The saw wire is operated between at least two spaced bore holes, sawing into the rock. After complete sawing of the whole shaft or channel (1), the sawn-out rock material is removed.
