A finger-protective device comprises at least two aligned articulately linked rigid members of substantially channel shape for bridging the back and both sides of at least part of a finger. The linkage preferably is a flexible hinge and adjacent side edge areas of consecutive members may overlap at least when the device is flexed to a gripping configuration. The device is suitable for use by sports batsmen and hockey players and may be employed as part of a glove or mitten. |
