PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lateral coil springs reverse to each other in the direction of rotational moment generated to a wheel holding member in a suspension device. SOLUTION: As to a coil spring 58 provided on the right rear wheel side and a coil spring 100 provided on the left rear wheel side, one end part of each coil spring is supported out of relative rotation on a body side member 52, and the other end part is supported out of relative rotation on a wheel holding member 74. These coil springs 58, 100 are the same in the winding direction and different from each other in effective turns. When the coil spring 58 is compressed, counterclockwise rotational moment is generated, and when the coil spring 100 is compressed, clockwise rotational moment is generated. Both rotational moment directions are in the direction of steering rear wheels in a toe-in direction so as to be able to improve the traveling stability of a vehicle at the time of turning. |
