<p>A motor-car rear door, or another glazed panel, comprises a shell (10) with an upper portion in the form of a frame (12) with an opening, and with a blind lower portion which defines a compartment (22). In the compartment (22) there is a window regulator (40) with a track (42) along which a slide (44) can slide, the slide (44) supporting the window pane (28) by means of an articulation pin having an axis (A1) perpendicular to the general plane of the pane. A sliding block (38) is fixed to a front edge (34) of the pane (28) by means of an articulation pin, the axis (A2) of which is perpendicular to the general plane of the pane (28). The sliding block (38) is slidable in a guide (26) which extends along a front edge (18) of the frame (12). The track (42) is oriented in a downwardly divergent direction relative to the guide (26). There is no sliding guide associated with the rear edge (36) of the pane (28). The arrangement is such that, during its upward and downward movements, the pane (28) pivots about the axes (A1, A2) adopting in particular, in the lowered position, an attitude in which its front portion is lowered to a level below that which would be permitted by a limited height of the rear portion of the compartment (22).</p> |
