<p>The system comprises a stirr-up (2) with two arms (11) hinging on a common axis on posts (4) of the seat frame. In one position, the stirr-up cross-bar forms a barrier above the level of the seat surface and in front of the backrest, while in the other it offers no hindrance to entry or exit. A component (16) movable on the stirr-up mounting bracket (7) prevents hinging of the stirr-up when in the safe position. There can be a radial bolt (14) on a pivot disc (10) extending radially from one stirr-up arm and which has a lug (20) limiting the stirr-up opening and shutting movement. The movable component consists of a hook pivoting on a bracket at right angles to the plane in which the stirr-up hinges. A handle on the hook is joined to it by a bar.</p> |
