Bearing component used for sliding and rolling

Bearing component (1) is made of a metal-matrix composite.The matrix is made of an aluminium alloy reinforced with SiC particles in an amount of more than 1 wt.%. The component has a tri-biological surface (30), which is the surface of an anodised layer (20). Production of the component is also claimed comprising surface processing a green body made of the above composite material, and then anodising, preferably by impregnating the anodised layer (20) with a lubricant.
