The fixing for a shoulder belt (20), equipped with an inertia reel, comprises a transverse section bar (3) located between the lateral webs (2) of the seat structure (1). The bar has guide slots (19) for the shoulder belt and two support plates for the inertia reel. The transverse bar is articulated between the webs about vertical axes (18). The ends of the bar are engaged on brackets (8) fixed on the internal faces of the webs by two superposed separated feet (6). The bar ends are articulated to the brackets by bolts (13).
