<p>The present invention is directed to a novel composition for relieving pain. The composition contains a combination of a sodium channel activator and a local anesthetic. The preferred sodium channel activator is a veratrum alkaloid. The invention also provides an improved method for relieving pain by administering such compositions and kit which provides agents as individual components.</p> |
