SULPHONATION PRODUCTS OF HYDROPHILISED TRIGLYCERIDES

The invention relates to sulphonation products of hydrophilised triglycerides which can be obtained by (a) reaction of triglycerides (I), in which A, B and C are independently of each other optionally hydroxyl-substituted acyl radicals with 6 to 24 carbon atoms and 0 or 1 to 5 double bonds with 0.5 to 3 wt % of glycerine, in relation to the triglycerides, at a high temperature in the presence of basic compounds; (b) subsequent alkoxylation of the products obtained in stage (a); and (c) sulphonation of the products obtained in stage (b). Said sulphonation products of hydrophilised triglycerides are suitable for the stuffing finish treatment of leather.
