Protective hood for circular tool, e.g. grinding wheel, circular saw blade

The protective hood has a cover (20), which can turn about an axis (31) and is fitted to the tool carrier (5) of a hand-operated machine (1). Part of the tool is inside the cover, which has a fixing aperture (27) in it. The side of the protective hood in which the fixing aperture is located is made double-walled round this fixing aperture. The walls (30) round this aperture are at a clearance from each other. The clearance between the outsides of the walls is not less than 7 mm.
