Chain-saw which can reach top branches of trees

The cutting head is for a powered chain saw for trimming high-up branches on fruit trees etc. The chain-saw has the cutting chain (11) and guide (10) mounted at one end (4) of an elongated telescopic tube (1) and an internal combustion engine (3) and handgrip (17) and control trigger (19) at the other end (2). There is a drive shaft inside the telescopic tube. The housing (9) carrying the drive gearing for the chain saw may be split, with the line of the split passing through the bearing for the drive shaft.
