A frame (10) for holding a picture (16) includes a die cut border (12) formed with an aperture (18) and a substantially flat flexible plastic envelope (20) formed with a pocket (34). The picture (16) is insertable into the pocket (34) of the envelope (20), and the envelope (20) is attached to the border (12) for presenting the picture (16) through the aperture (18). A brace (22) is selectively attachable to the border (12) to hold the frame (10) in a desired orientation for viewing the picture (16). Alternatively, the envelope (20) may be formed between a recessed portion (52) of a rigid base (50) and a transparent sheet (60) attached over the recess (52) and the brace (22) may be removably attachable to the base member (50) in more than one predetermined orientation.
