Parking brake for vehicle

The brake system has a handbrake lever (2), a carrying part (3), a brake power transmission means (4) and wheels brakes (5) which are all mounted as one unit on a platform (6) outside of the vehicle. The unit together with the axle is connectable from below with the chassis. The carrier part (3) seals a recess (8) in the chassis for the opening of the break lever. The carrying part is constructed as a punch-pressed plate with an circumferential attachment edge (9) which corresponds to the wall of an oblong tunnel (7) in the region of the recess.
