Impeller for impulse turbine

The impeller has a rotor plate (1) rigidly attached to a shaft (2), and several cupped vanes (3). Each vane has a foot (3.3) which is positively formed with the vane and has rises and a depressions formed by grooves (3.4) in the side walls of the foot. Complementary rises and depressions are provided on the rotor plate for each vane foot. A separating layer for preventing seizing is located between the complementary facing surfaces of the feet and the recesses of the rotor plate.
