The equipment includes a lever (2), which is mounted on a frame (1) and contains a ball-holder with or as a handle (8). A continuously adjustable sprung unit (4) is tightened, the ball inserted, and the throw released manually via a starter impulse appliance (6). The lever arm is tensioned by the sprung unit from the vertical to the horizontal on a level with the lever pivot (5). The sprung unit is joined to the lever arm or to the lever foot.
