<p>A method of processing a press plate in order to perform mounting of a paper plate or a resin plate in a similar manner to a PS plate, and more specifically, a method of sticking a paper plate or a resin plate to a support and a sticking apparatus. Concretely, provided are: (1) a method of sticking a press plate and a support together before the press plate is mounted to a printing machine, in which method the press plate and the support are stuck together while shaped into a cylindrical configuration or an arcuate configuration, and (2) an apparatus for sticking a press plate and a support together, said apparatus comprising a rotatable drum having means for positioning the support, means for fixing a head end of the support, means for positioning the press plate and means for fixing a head end of the press plate, and a pressing roller which acts to bias the press plate and the support against the drum.</p> |
