<p>A diaphragm fluid flow control assembly comprises a perforated circular diaphragm disk (1) disposed in a conduit (15), the diaphragm disk (1) having a preformed hole (14) therethrough, a pressing ring (13) secured within the conduit (15) and dimensioned to overlay the periphery of the diaphragm disk and squeeze an edge of the diaphragm disk against a shoulder of the conduit, and a tube (27) insertable through the preformed hole of the diaphragm. The assembly serves as a sterilization preserving transmission valve and cap for fluids stored in containers (901, 905, 907, 911) commonly used in the medical and health care field.</p> |
