The system consists of bar- or plate-type block construction elements (1a,2a,3a,4a) and similar. The elements have joining lugs (1b,2b,3b,4b) which are limited in their length parallel to the side edges by a quarter of the width of the element. The four possible lugs which result from the division of the block element width to be used are assigned in exactly the same number of the block elements required for a complete construction. Optimal combinations of the construction elements are possible at right angles in all four directions and in endless concatenation.
