The endoscope includes at least a group of lenses which is movable on the optical axis (11) for adjusting the focal length using a micro drive. The micro drive includes at least a dynamical balanced axially movable bush (3) which surrounds the group of lenses. The bush is a permanent magnet (31) and is movable in a magnetic field. The magnetic field is generated by a coil arrangement (2) which surrounds the bush preferably coaxial. Preferably, the bush is a floating bush and the coils are wound bifilarly.
