Difference determination method between Sub Q code and CD ROM header

The method involves the determination of the difference in length between a CD ROM Sub-Q-Code and the header length in the data layout of a CD ROM that is inserted into a computer CD ROM drive. A read command is given to the CD ROM drive, after which the first Sub-Q-Code, of the first frame, is found and stored in memory. The CD ROM drive decoder then reads the header information within the data frame, in conjunction with the computer processor. The difference in length between the stored Sub-Q-code and the header is determined by the computer processor, and displayed on the computer monitor. The CD ROM drive recorder for data capture is a high frequency amplifier, to carry out an eight to four modulation.
