The invention pertains to a method and a setup for analyzing glucose in tissue wherein a perfusion solution as liquid column flows through a microdialyzer implanted in the tissue and is conveyed to a measuring cell. To increase the yield, avoid a concentration gradient and reduce the dead time, the invention proposes that the volumetric flow (V) of the perfusion solution for the duration of dialysis intervals (T1) is reduced on a time average to a value V0, and that the volume of perfusion solution perfused through the microdialyzer during each such dialysis interval (T1) is conveyed on to the measuring cell at a higher volumetric flow (V1) in a succeeding transport interval (T2).
