FIELD: cold stamping of parts from sheet materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves drawing parts in die with partition wall fixed on die surface and pressure member with partition wall receiving slot; pressing peripheral parts of sheet billet to die; deforming central part of sheet billet and simultaneously braking peripheral parts by partition wall; providing inclination of partition wall relative to working surface of pressure member; conjugating top and side surfaces of partition wall with cylindrical part; conjugating side surface of pressure member slot and its working pressing surface with cylindrical part; braking peripheral parts of sheet billet by drawing between cylindrical part of partition wall and surface of partition wall receiving slot and between cylindrical part of pressure member and pressing surface of die, with gap between them having minimum value. Contact area of peripheral parts of sheet billet and partition wall surfaces during drawing process is increased due to increasing angle of embracing of partition wall cylindrical part by billet beginning from initial drawing moment to final stage.
