FIELD: production of reinforcing materials mainly for reinforcing elastomeric and industrial-rubber articles, possibly used at making motor vehicles, conveyor belts, driving belts, escalator handrails, casings, high-pressure hoses and so on and also at making metallic reinforcement in metallurgical industry. SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is accomplished due to change of operation of fine drawing of brass-plated wire by rolling operation with total deformation degree no more than 60%. Then at least two rolled members are applied one to another for further twining them by brassplated wire or band having strength value being by 1.5-2.6 times less than that of main reinforcing member. Formed pack is rolled with reduction no more than 5%. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, lowered labor and energy consumption, mobility of manufacturing equipment. |
