<p>A chip coil winding machine which comprises a chuck provided on a peripheral portion of a rotary body and serving to hold a chip core, which is formed at both ends thereof with opposing electrodes, from a direction parallel to an opposing direction of the electrodes, transfer means for rotating the rotary body to move the chip core within a surface of a predetermined rotation and winding means provided in the vicinity of the outer periphery of the transfer means for supplying the chuck with a chip core, winding a wire around the chip core to connect both ends of the wire to the electrodes to provide a chip coil and serving the wire of the resulting chip coil from an outside wire to recover the same, the chuck being formed such that the opposing direction of the electrodes is inclined at a predetermined angle relative to a radial axis perpendicular to a direction of movement of the chip core within the surface of the predetermined rotation. Accordingly, the winding means for performing winding of the chip core can be disposed to be inclined at the predetermined angle relative to the radial axis, so that the machine can be miniaturized as compared with a prior art, in which a chip core is held such that electrodes oppose each other in a direction parallel to a radial axis.</p> |
