Axially inclined surfaces produced by grinding stone
摘要
The grinding stone (20) is pressed to the oblique surface (31) at pre-set pressure so the entire surface is in contact with the stone. The stone should be rotated during this pressure stage so as to grind the surface to which it is addressed, producing either convex or concave surface finish. Pressure is applied by axial oscillation of the stone at a pre-set frequency but in a frequency range which maintains stone/surface contact, specifically intended for fuel injection valve faces. Two units provide required pressure and rotation for the stone (2) movement over surface, and a third unit varies the pressure force with an included oscillator for the axial movement of the stone, here possibly provided by a piezoelectric element.
