The compressor has an oil-lubricated drive mechanism by which the piston rod (1) is moved in a straight line. Simple sealing elements (2) provide an ail seal for the air compression part so that oil-free air can be sucked in and compressed. The piston rods are best fitted on the oil-lubricated side of the driving mechanism in bearing borings made for the purpose. This also applies to the piston bodies (3). The cavity (5) at the rear of the compressor piston is the induction cavity. The induction valves (6) are in the piston.
