The breast part (12) under the window (13) contains a ventilator (14) with at least one inflow fan (15) connected to an air-suction opening on the outside of the room, and to an air-inlet opening (18) on the inside of the room. A heat exchanger (20) is positioned beneath the ventilator. The air inlet opening points towards the heat-exchanger. The ventilator on the room interior side has a facing (24) extending as far as over the heat exchanger and up to the top cover (22) of the ventilator, such as window sill. Air-flow over the heat exchanger is provided by a flow path and which can be blocked in its top part against the outflow of hot air rising by means of convection from the heat exchanger.
