The displacement is effected outwards from the door base of the vehicle and along a guide (11,12). The pane holder (2)is longitudinally displaceable directly, e.g. by a screw bolt in the slide piece. In the slide piece (1) an adjuster (3) is provided, which is adjustable in a different direction to the pane holder, and by which the pane holder can be pushed in the guide (11,12). The adjuster can clamp (locating surfaces (9,10) the pane holder in an arbitrary position. The adjuster and the pane holder have a rib (15) and a groove (16), so that the pane holder on the adjustment of the adjuster receives a movement component in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
