Dispensing container for water-treatment tablets in dishwasher

A watertight container for holding a number of water-treatment tablets in a dishwashing machine is moulded from transparent plastic so that the tablets can be clearly seen in the V-shaped main section of the container which is sealed by a screw stopper after filling. The lower end of the V has a rotatable half-shell which receives one tablet only and can be manually or electrically rotated via a toothed click-stop knob through 180 deg. to release the tablet via a vertical tube to a holding cage in the rinsing circuit. A further 180 deg. rotation of the half-shell allows the next tablet to enter in readiness for the next programme.
