PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conduct optical resolution of a diphenylpiperazine derivative by reacting this derivative with a compound represented by a specified formula. SOLUTION: A diphenylpiperazine derivative, for example, 1-(4,4-bis-(4- fluorophenyl)butyl)-4-(2-hydroxy-3-phenyulaminopropyl)piperazine is reacted with a compound represented by the formula, for example R(1)1-(1-naphthyl) ethylisocyanate. In the formula, R4 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent having 6-12 carbon atoms, and R5 represents an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms. This method can be applied to analysis of optical purity of diphenylpiperadine derivative, analysis every optical isomer, and its own isolation by optical resolution. As the analyzing or isolatingmeans, for example, high speed liquid chromatography is given. |
