<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound characteristics by forming a soundboard of the fiber-reinforced plastic(FRP) which is formed by laminating layers having different coefficients of linear expansion so as to generate internal stress. SOLUTION: The soundboard is formed of the FRP which is formed by laminating the layers having different coefficients of linear expansion so as to generate the internal stress. Namely, the composition of the FRP, specially, a combination of glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramide fiber, etc., as fiber materials is changed to vary the strength and internal stress of respective members such as a top 14, a supporting stick, and a reverse plate constituting a violin 10, thereby controlling sound characteristics of the top 14 and reverse plate as a soundboard, i,e., sound characteristics of the violin. Here, a bout, a neck 20, and a tail piece 24 are molded of the FRP into one body. Therefore, the top 14 and sides 18 of the bout 12, and a block and the supporting stick are also molded of the FRP into one body.</p> |
