PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the blur in a color boundary part caused by high surface tension black ink by replacing one dot of the black image region by black ink in the boundary part with other color image region with a dot of a color becoming the complementary color of the color used in a color image region to record the same. SOLUTION: When a black image region 1 and a color image region 2 border on, one dot of the boundary part on the side of the black image region is replaced with the dot of a color becoming the complementary color 3 of the color of the color image region bordering on the black image region (when the color of the color image region is red, one dot of red is replaced with cyan being the complementary color of red and, when magenta, green being the complementary color of magenta and, when yellow, blue being the complementary color of yellow). As mentioned above, a complementary color dot is provided between the black image region 1 and the color image region 2 adjacent thereto as a dot capable of being ready to be blurred and blur is stopped up to this dot. By this constitution, blur generated so as to exceed a boundary over that dot or more can be suppressed. |
