PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a strong interference so as not to be received even in the case where a door is shut up, thereby having it overstocked. SOLUTION: This is a drop weather strip made up of projectingly installing a door side lip 52b being elastically contacted with a door inner plate 1a on the door side of an upper side of a groove side wall of a pinching part 51 to be fitted in a body flange 3 and a roof side lip 53 in the body side of an upper side of the groove side wall of the pinching part 51 in the same way, wall thickness Ta of an outer sponge layer S2 of an outer surface of the groove bottom wall part of a hard polymeric material body H consisting of hard rubber or resin of the pinching part 51 is formed into the wall thickness Ta approximate to wall thickness of a door side lip 52. Since the outer sponge layer Sa is interposed between an outer end of the pinching part 51 and the door inner plate 1a as a buffer material, such a possibility that the outer end of a drip weather strip might be broken, emitting a noise, will in no case occur at all. |
