<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the staple sorter in a conveniently usable form, which automatically takes out each bundle of papers out of a bin even if each bundle of papers which has been stapled, remains in the bin, after a specified period of time has elapsed. SOLUTION: The staple sorter 10 sorts papers in each of which an image has been formed, into respective bins 31 so as to staple them. Each bin 31 can be moved up and down by one pitch, and the papers are housed in the order of pages (sort mode). Each bundle of papers set at a X1 level over the bin 31 is stapled by a staple unit 70, and when it is raised up to a X, level, it is taken out of the bin 31 by a gate 100 having been lowered down so as to J be housed in over an upper tray 20. After each bundle of papers has been stapled, and when it remains over the bin 31, each bundle of papers is taken out by the gate 100 so as to be housed in the tray 20 after a specified period of time has elapsed.</p> |
