PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reading omission and to improve business processing efficiency by adding a marker pen or a stamper to the read head of a bar code reader and marking read completion or putting a seal on the peripheral part of a bar code by a manual operation in connection to a bar code read operation. SOLUTION: An electric object 13 and the marker pen or the stamper 14 are fitted to the inner side or the outer side of the case of the read head 2 in integrated structure. Data of the bar code 1, which are read by the sensor of the read head 2, are given to the electric object 13 and a personal computer 4 through a data transfer cable 3. A switch part (marking switch part) 16 for a marking automatic operation/marking manual operation, a read completion signal delay part 17 and the driving part 15 of the electric object 13 are additionally incorporated in the personal computer 4. The read head 2 is brought near the bar code 1 and the beep sound of bar code data read completion is recognized. Then, marking is executed by the manual operation by the marking pen or the stamper 14. |
