A process for production of brushes with a body and a set of individual plastic bristles comprises: (i) inserting the fixing ends (14) of individual bristles (4) into holes in a template (7) whose hole diameter is slightly larger than the bristles and whose hole pattern corresponds to that of the set of bristles; (ii) moving the bristles forward until the ends to be fixed project equally on the other side of the template and are clamped to prevent axial and radial movement; (iii) forming a layer (3) of a liquid, hardenable material on the surface of the brush body (1); and (iv) penetrating the projecting bristle ends (14) by the liquid which is then hardened. |
