PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NOX purifying sound absorbing member having excellent sound absorbing effect and NOX purifying effect simultaneously with simple structure and easily cleaned as well as formed to make light enter easily. SOLUTION: An NOX purifying sound absorbing member has kneaded material containing 100 pts.wt. of cement, 5-50 pts.wt. of titanium oxide powder and 50-400 pts.wt. of fine aggregate with an average grain diameter, selected from 1mm-15mm in grain diameter, in sound absorbing material, and has a porosity of 10% or more. Sand, lightweight aggregate, glass grain or quartz sand is desirable as fine aggregate. Perlite layers 2 formed of cement and perlite are formed in extrusion-molded concrete sound absorbing base material 1a, and cement, titanium oxide, perlite and water are kneaded and porured into the thickness of 1-5mm thereon to form an NOX purifying layer 3. The NOX purifying sound absorbing member with excellent NOX gas purifying capacity is thereby obtained. |
