PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a galvanized steel sheet for an organic resin-coated steel sheet excellent in working adhesion and corrosion resistance and used for an organic resin-coated steel sheet in which organic resin coating having >=100μm coating thickness is formed via an adhesive layer. SOLUTION: This galvanized steel sheet for an organic resin-coated steel sheet is the one in which the surface of a steel sheet is applied with a galvanized layer and a chemically converted layer and coated with organic resin coating having >=100μm coating thickness via an adhesive layer, and the chemically converted layer is the coating film formed by applying a treating soln. contg. wet-type colloidal silica in which the average particle size of each silica particle is regulated to 4 to 10nm and executing drying, and the coating weight of silica is regulated to the range of 20 to 100mg/m<2> expressed in terms of SiO2 .
