PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply perform printing quality confirming/adjusting work such as color matching work within a short time by simple operation by providing a printing sample paper adding apparatus bonding printing sample paper to the surface of a continuous long material to be printed during a period from the unwinding of the material to be printed to the printing of a first color. SOLUTION: A printing sample paper bonding apparatus 1 is equipped with the material-to-be printed support roll 11 coming into contact with the rear surface of the material 2 to be printed unwound from a raw material roll to run to support the same under rotation and a freely rotatable printing sample paper support roll 12 capable of being separated from or brought into contact with the roll 11 and sucking and supporting the printing sample paper in an easily peelable manner and this roll 12 is driven by a printing sample paper support roll driving means 13 so as to be reversibly separated from and brought into contact with the support roll 11. By this constitution, the printing sample paper 3 is bent toward the surface of the material to be printed at one end thereof to be accurately bonded to the material to be printed without becoming oblique and, thereafter, the residual part of the printing sample paper 3 is nipped by both rolls 11, 12 to be bonded to the material 2 to be printed. |
