PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent troubles in which piping etc., connected with a salt water outlet are clogged with impurities, etc., by dividing a salt water tank into a salt mounting part and a salt water channel part and installing partition plates in the salt water channel part in a softener in which a raw water tank and the salt water tank are arranged above a resin cylinder filled with an ion exchange resin. SOLUTION: A salt water tank 4 attached to a water softener 1 for softening living water is divided into a salt mounting part 6 on which a net 5 is spread and a salt water channel part 8 equipped with a salt water outlet, and partition plates are arranged zigzag in the salt water channel part 8 between the salt water outlet 7 and the salt mounting part 6, forming labyrinth structure in which channels 8a with a prescribed width are arranged alternately. Owing to the labyrinth structure, impurities in salt water and undissolved salt are to be left in each corner part of each partition plate 9 so that salt water without impurities etc., flows out from the salt water outlet 7 to surely prevent piping and a valve which are connected to the salt water outlet 7 from clogging. |
